Breakwater at La Saulce
To restore the water-tightness of the EDF dam of La Saulce on the Durance river, it was necessary to create a sheet-piling wall, 600 meters in length.
In two months, the company proceeded to place 5,200 sq. m of sheet-piling, weighing 610 tons.
To accomplish this, three crawler cranes ranging from 50 to 65 tons were used, as well as two vibrators and one diesel hammer. Eight associates participated in this work on behalf of EDF GEH HAUTE DURANCE.
